We consider it a privilege to partner with parents to help build a biblical foundation for a lifetime of growth in Jesus Christ.  We have several programs for children that are not only fun, but that also equip them for the future.

 AWANA KIDS CLUB

AWANA is for children ages 2-grade 6.  We value God's Word at Hampton First Baptist and in AWANA, kids spend time studying and memorizing verses from God's Word.  In addition, kids play exciting games and earn AWANA Bucks as they progress through the curriculum.  

AWANA is separated into several different clubs depending on age.

Puggles (age 2)	Cubbies (ages 3-4)	Sparks (K-grade 2)	T&T (grade 3-6)

 KIDZ 252 SERVICE

KIDZ 252 is a fun worship experience geared just for children ages 4-grade 3.  Children can expect high energy songs full of exciting motions as well as learning about God through engaging object lessons and kid-oriented messages.   

 KIDZ CHOIR

Children love to sing!  We want to encourage them, beginning at an early age, to sing to the Lord.  We also want the kids to realize that when they sing to the Lord, God is pleased!  We also believe that music is a wonderful method for teaching children about God.

In addition to singing, we have other opportunities for children to express themselves through mediums such as drama, rhythmic movement, sign language, scripture memorization, music activities and games. The Kidz Choir sings several times throughout the year at worship services as well as special presentations. 

GOOD NEWS CLUB

Good News Club is a ministry in which trained teachers meet with groups of children in schools and community centers for a weekly Bible club.  This action-packed time includes an exciting Bible lesson, songs, Scripture memory, a missions story, games and other activities.  

The purpose of the Good News Club is to tell boys and girls about Jesus Christ and establish (disciple) them in the Word of God and in a local church for Christian living.
